Missions

The Great Commission (Matthew 18:19-20) "to go" starts with us. Missions, both local and foreign, are essential parts of the church.

Foreign Missions

We have sent teams all over the world; Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, Africa, India, the Caribbean, the list goes on.. Aside from going on trips around the world helping and serving where we can, we also support other missionaries.

Local Missions

We extend our heart in fellowship to all Christian churches in central Illinois, helping to promote community and church-related programs and events. We strive to create a Christ-centered unity that touches the heart of Lincoln with the love of Christ and His compassion. Our involvement includes:

• Nursing Home - For over 20 years, members from NTNCC have conducted a Sunday worship service at St. Clara's Manor every 2nd Sunday of each month. Times filled with worship, prayer, love and compassion sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. Service time is at 2:00pm.
  
  
• Visitation - Hospitalized or homebound and need some encouragement? Do you want someone to pray with you or just need a visit? Our pastors and members put the needs of others first and we're only a phone call away. Feel free to call the church office at 217-735-3402 to setup a time for a visit either to your home or the church.
  
  
• Prison - Restoration Prison Ministry functions as an extension of NTNCC, reaching into the heart of our local women's correctional facility. Through RPM these women receive biblical instruction and moral advice as well as the opportunity to learn practical skills such as proper etiquette, cooking, and cake decorating. Our desire is to establish relationships of trust that will bring both spiritual and physical improvement into the lives of these women as they prepare to leave the prison system and re-enter society. Only this time, with the help of Jesus Christ.
  
  
• FCA - We are actively involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Lincoln Community High School. We help with fundraising, community events, and everywhere there is a need.
  
  
• Counseling - We offer pre-marital counseling for couples planning for marriage. It's an important union that God blesses. It's important that we do it His way. Call the church office for more information.
